Tilbage i januar bragte Washington Post historien om at Donald Trump i en telefonsamtale havde truet og tigget Brad Raffensperger, Georgias indenrigsminister. ‘Find the fraud’-historien var baseret på en anonym embedsmand, og nåede også de danske medier. Wall Street Journal har fået en kopi af telefonsamtalen, og sandheden var ikke helt så sexet. Ja, faktisk så holdt citaterne ikke vand. Intet dansk medie har omtalt de nye oplysninger, bortset fra BT.dk, der meget symptomatisk headliner med: Nyt telefonopkald: Presset på Trump stiger.

The recording revealed that The Post misquoted Trump’s comments on the call, based on information provided by a source.
